  • A group of young Marines joined together to create a new Marine Corps League in Mobile, Alabama. Many of the young Marines were from the University of South Alabama‘s Student Veteran Association, known as the “Jag Vets”. The original charter consist of 33 members with a median age of 38 years old. This is an excited new group of people ready to jump in and do some good work for Marines. The detachment was named for Marine Sgt. Foster L. Harrington. Foster served with Mobile’s 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company. Foster was KIA in September of 2004 while on deployment to Iraq in the Al-Anbar Province. Our detachment meets the 2nd Wednesday, 18:30 hours at Seven Hills Volunteer Fire Department, 3650 Newman Rd, Mobile, AL 36695.

  • We meet every second Wednesday of each month @1830 (6:30pm). Our meeting place is the Seven Hills Volunteer Fire Department on Newman Road.
